About Amazing Clean, the Blind & Curtain Cleaners & Repairers

Having launched in 1996 with a revolutionary cleaning system and now almost reaching three decades servicing domestic and commercial customers across Australia, Amazing Clean is proud to be be known as one of Australia’s leading blind, curtain, mattress and upholstery cleaning companies.

Until Amazing Clean, there was no company operating in Australia which specialised in cleaning Venetian, vertical, timber, roller and pleated blinds.

This unique business was created by the Kent family, who previously owned one of Australia’s leading blind manufacturing companies.

Recognising a gap in the market, research by founding director Steve Kent led him to America, where he found ultrasonic blind cleaning to be a growing industry. After studying what the Americans were doing with this process – which uses ultrasound and an appropriate cleaning solvent – Steve applied a little Aussie ingenuity and tenacity to develop a superior method back in Australia.

Through this, the ultimate system for cleaning blinds and awnings was born.

The first Amazing Clean operation was based in Brisbane and soon others, operating under license, began to duplicate the success.

Today, there are Amazing Clean franchises across much of Australia including the ACT, NSW, Northern Territory, Victoria and Western Australia, in addition to Queensland, where the Amazing Clean story began.

Services offered by Amazing Clean franchisees include blind repairs and cleaning, installation of new blinds, awning repairs and cleaning, curtain cleaning, installation of new curtains and new blinds, upholstery cleaning and mattress cleaning.
